Makhana Kheer (Lotus seeds pudding)

Preparation Time - 5 Mins.           Servings - 4 
Cooking Time - 10 Mins. 
Total Time - 15 mins. 

INGREDIENTS
1. Makhana (lotus seeds) 
2. Milk - 500ml
3. Fried Cashews - 1/2 Cup
4. Sugar 
5. Cardamon powder 
6. Saffron

Recipe
1.  Heat a frying pan and add 1 tablespoon of ghee, add makhana or lotus seeds in it and saute till they turn crisp. 
2.  Turn off the flame and allow it to cool. Blend it in a mixer in coarse powder. 
3. Boil 500ml of milk for around 5 mins. After 5 mins. turn off the flame and mix the powder in the milk. 
4. Add sugar as required, fried cashews, saffron and pinch of cardamon powder. Cover the lid. 
Delicious hot makhana pudding is ready.
