Mutton Curry


PREPARATION TIME - 10 mins
COOKING TIME - 25 mins. 

INGREDIENTS
1. Mutton - 1/2 kg
2. Finely chopped onions - 4 big 
3. Ginger garlic paste 
4. Coriander powder 
5. Degi Mirch powder 
6. Turmeric 
7. Salt 
8. Whole Cumin seeds 
9. Whole red chilli - 2
10. Bay leaves - 2
11. Asafoetida 
12. Meat masala
13. Cooking oil 
14. Black pepper
15. Cinnamon 
16. Black Cardamom 
17. True cardamom
18. Clove 


MARINATE 
1. Clean the mutton well. Take a bowl and add mutton, chopped onions, ginger garlic paste, whole cumin seeds and all the spices - bay leaves, whole red chilli, black pepper, asafoetida, cinnamon, clove, black cardamom, true cardamom, coriander powder, red chilli powder, salt as required, turmeric powder, 2 tablespoon oil and MIX WELL. 

2. Cover the bowl for 10 mins. for marination. 

METHOD 
1. Heat 2 tablespoon oil in a cooker. 
2. Saute the marinated mutton and add meat masala. Saute till oil starts to separate. 
3. Put water according to the gravy and cover the lid till 2 whistles. Turn the heat to medium. 
4. After 2 whistles, turn off the flame. Open the lid after the whistle cools down and add garam masala. 
5. Garnish it with coriander. 

SERVE THE MOUTH WATERING MUTTON CURRY WITH RICE!
