Tawa Paneer Recipe


PREPARATION TIME - 15 mins. 
COOKING TIME - 20 Mins. 

INGREDIENTS 
1. Paneer - 500g 
2. Dahi - 1 Tablespoon
3. Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 teaspoon
4. Capsicum - 2
5. Finely chopped tomatoes - 2
6. Finely chopped onions - 2
7. Kashmiri red chilli powder - 1 teaspoon
8. Salt 
9. Turmeric - 1/2 teaspoon
10. Cumin seeds - 1 teaspoon
11. Coriander powder - 1 tablespoon
12. Garam masala powder - 1/2 teaspoon 
13. Coriander leaves 
14. Cooking oil 

METHOD ( FOR MARINATION) 
1. Take a bowl and pour 1 tablespoon dahi in it. Add salt, red chilli powder, turmeric, garam masala, cumin seeds, ginger garlic paste and mix well. 
2. Cut paneer in big cubes and add them in the mixture and cover it. Leave it for 30 mins to marinate. 
After 30 mins. 
3. Heat oil on tawa or in a non stick pan. Saute the marinated paneer on low flame. Take out all the paneer in a plate. 
4. Now, saute chopped onions in a pan. Add chopped capsicum. Add tomatoes after it becomes soft. Add all the spices - coriander powder, chaat masala, turmeric and saute well. 
5. Add some water so that the spices do not burn. Once oil starts to separate add all the paneer cubes and mix well. Slow down the flame. Garnish it with coriander. 

Serve the full flavoured tawa paneer with naan!
