Lauki Kheer Recipe | Bottle Gourd Pudding
PREPARATION TIME - 15 mins.
COOKING TIME - 20 mins.
INGREDIENTS
1. Lauki /Ghiya (bottle gourd) - 1 small
2. Milk - 1/2 kg full cream
3. Sugar - as required
4. Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
5. Cashew + Almonds crushed
6. Raisins
METHOD
1. Peel the gourd and grate it. Add a cup of water and cook for 3-4 mins. Turn off the flame. After it cools down squeeze it to take out the water.
2. Boil the milk. Turn the flame to low when milk is boiled and add lauki. Keep stirring it on low flame for 10-15 mins. When the milk seems to have thickened completely, turn off the flame.
3. Add sugar as per taste. Mix all the dry fruits and cover the lid.
Sweet lauki ki kheer is ready!
