Methi Paratha Recipe | Fenugreek Flatbreads

PREPARATION TIME - 10 mins. 
COOKING TIME - 15 mins. 

INGREDIENTS
1. Fenugreek leaves (methi) 
2. Flour (aata) - 4 cups 
3. Salt - as required
4. Carom seeds (ajwain) - 1/2 teaspoon
5. Turmeric 
6. Ginger - 1/4 finely chopped
7. Green chilli - 2 finely chopped
8. Onions - 1 medium finely chopped
9. Garlic - Finely chopped
10. Cooking oil - 2 tablespoon


METHOD 
1. Clean fenugreek leaves (methi) with water and finely chopped them. Leave all the leaves in a pan on medium heat for five minutes. After 5 mins. Turn off the flame. Take the leaves out from the pan and drain the water well. 

2. Now take 4 cups of flour (aata)in a bowl. Add carrom seeds (ajwain), salt as per taste, finely chopped garlic, green chilli, ginger, onions, pinch of turmeric and 1tablespoon cooking oil. Now add methi and knead the dough. Don't wet the flour much as it will make it difficult to knead the dough. 

3. Heat non-stick pan. Make round balls of the dough. Roll out in the shape of rotis or parathas. 

4. Cook the parathas on a medium flame. Brush it with cooking oil. 

Serve the tasty methi paratha with green chutney or curd!
